Consultation for medium-sized companies presents not only a weighty challenge to the consultant, but more often than not it also leads to more rapidly attainable results through shorter routes of decision. Medium-sized company consultation has been consistently kept in the forefront, but without losing touch with international developments, which these companies cannot do without in the long-term. This is one of the reasons why I took the American Auditing Examinations in 2002, in order to be also familiar with international accounting standards.
